RFP 25-16 FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENT PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS

1. The City of South Fulton is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to conduct psychological evaluations for both the Fire Department and the Police Department.
This RFP covers pre-employment evaluations, fitness-for-duty assessments, and ongoing psychological evaluations as needed for both public safety agencies.
Experience with both the Fire and Police Departments' Psychological Evaluations, including projects of comparable nature, scope, complexity, and duration, with evidence of satisfactory completion on time and within budget over the past three years.
Demonstrated use of validated instruments and methods tailored to law enforcement and fire service:
Specifically, the following:
1. Standardized Psychological Testing ¿ Validated tools (e.g., MMPI-2-RF, CPI)
2. Structured Clinical Interviews ¿ Conducted by a licensed psychologist assessing emotional stability, impulse control, judgment, and more.
3. Written Evaluation Reports ¿ Summarizing with clear recommendations of: Suitable, Suitable with Concerns, or Not Suitable.
4. Optional Consultation ¿ Post-evaluation discussion with Fire and Law Enforcement hiring staff, if requested
