Description
The City of Dahlonega is seeking sealed written bids from qualified vendors to construct a pedestrian bridge and sidewalk improvements on SR 9/SR 60 from SR 60BU to N of Yahoola Creek.
All bidders must be Pre-Qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), and all subcontractors must be registered with GDOT. Bid Documents are available on the city website at www.dahlonega.gov/departments/purchasing or by request from Ms. Brittany Lee at blee@dahlonega.gov
THREE (3) copies of your Bid must be sealed and delivered in person, by mail, or overnight delivery service to the City of Dahlonega, 465 Riley Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533 no later than 2:00 PM EST on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on December 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Bids received after said time will not be accepted. The envelope shall state SR 9/SR 60/US 19/MORRISON MOORE PARKWAY (FROM SR 60 BUS. TO CR 189/WIMPY MILL RD) PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE & SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS, bid date, and company name to prevent accidental opening. Bids shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope with all the information required by law, including the name of the project and the Respondent's name, address and license number, expiration date and classification (as applicable).
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the City of Dahlonega Gary McCullough Council Chambers on November 18th at 10:00 AM. Inquiries regarding this bid may be made by email to: Morrison.Moore.PedBridge@wsp.com Only inquiries received in writing will receive a response. All such written inquiries must be delivered by 12:00 noon, on Friday, November 22, 2024. The City of Dahlonega will publish a response to all inquiries on its website at http://www.dahlonega.gov/departments/purchasing on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
