Replace the hydraulic jack and piston assembly for the hydraulic elevator located in the Historic Courthouse

The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and licensed elevator contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to replace the hydraulic jack and piston assembly for the hydraulic elevator located in the Historic Courthouse. The County will receive proposals until 4:00pm on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at which time proposals will be opened at the following address: Elbert County Board of Commissioners, 45 Forest Avenue, Elberton, Georgia, 30635. Proposals received after that time and date will not be considered. Proposals must be sealed in an envelope and the words “A sealed proposal” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Send proposals to the above address with ATT. Ryan Wright. Faxed or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. Bids will be awarded at 5:30pm on Monday August 10, 2026 at the above address.

All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.

The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
