SPRING STREET SEAWALL REPLACEMENT

An existing mortared stone seawall on Spring Street, damaged previously by a snow plow, requires extensive repairs to restore its condition. This includes, but is not limited to, temporary removal of armor stone (and replacement after construction), placement of subgrade jersey barriers as tie-rod anchors, installation of new foundation with vertical dowels and horizontal tie rod anchors to new jersey barriers, a new concrete seawall with stone form liner, and reinforced concrete apron at the approach to the new wall.
