Old Town Master Planning Services

The City of Cottonwood is soliciting statements of qualifications for Old Town Master Planning Services from experienced individuals/firms with direct experience in these services. Sealed offers for the service specified will be received by the City of Cottonwood, Purchasing Division via the City’s eProcurement Portal . The City of Cottonwood was established in the 1870's as an agricultural community and incorporated in 1960. The City is located within Yavapai County with a population of 12,296 (2022) and encompasses 27.4 square miles (17,576 acres) within its corporate boundaries.

Old Town Cottonwood (consisting of a small historic commercial district on N. Main Street and its surrounding residential neighborhoods) has seen tremendous economic growth in recent decades. Old Town’s popularity has resulted in traffic congestion and parking shortages during peak times, with the main uses of dining, shopping, and accessing nearby trailheads.

The associated tasks and specific deliverables that the consultant will provide in the way of project management, analysis, public involvement, assessments, corresponding wayfinding signage concepts, plan adoption and support.
