At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83749455021?pwd=Bi5NlqTr8WGIOIXGaBRr9E03ogopFa.1 Meeting ID:837 4945 5021 Passcode:480267 This bid includes the following Work: Removal of the existing electrical vault and installation of a new prefabricated vault at New Century AirCenter (IXD); upgraded home-run wiring to the vault and control tower; addition of a dedicated backup power source; and system elevation to meet current Part 139 electrical standards, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at 10:00AM CT on April 23, 2026, at the New Century AirCenter Board Room located at 1 New Century Parkway, New Century, Kansas. Technical questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on May 1, 2026, to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed. Bidders shall submit the following with their bid: Bid Bond: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas. Davis-Bacon Act, as amended – DOL Regulation 29 CFR Part 5: The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the current schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening.
