Description

  1. This notice is posted IAW FAR 5.203 “Publicizing and response time.” The Government intends to release a solicitation on or after 15 days from the date this notice for the requirement below. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.

  2. This is a pre-solicitation notice for a construction requirement. The contractor is to provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified labor necessary to repair sanitary sewer system components. Sanitary sewer structural and maintenance defects in the wastewater system in vicinity of bldgs. 247, 248, 249, and 250 have caused inflow and infiltration (I&I), unanticipated interruptions of flow, and sanitary sewer overflows. Appropriate rehabilitation methods for the sanitary sewer system at Travis Air Force Base include:

    • Cured-in-place pipe lining

    • Open Trench pipe replacement and relief sewers

    • Specialized point repairs

    • Root cutting and pipe cleaning

    • Raising manholes to grade and/or replacing manhole covers

    • Manhole frame and cover replacement

    • Manhole frame and chimney replacement

    • Cone and barrel replacement

    • Bench and channel repair

    • Epoxy seals and corrosion protection coatings

    • Structural lining



  3. The solicitation shall be publicized through the Government-wide point of entry on SAM.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered with SAM.gov.
