Solicitation Summary
This Progressive Design-Build solicitation is for upgrade of existing mechanical and electrical equipment at the Parkway WRRF, with Ramboll acting as the Owner’s Agent. The project includes the replacement of a 900 KW generator installed in 2012, now undersized for critical loads, with a 2 MW generator; replacement of constant speed multi-stage blowers with variable speed turbo-blowers; and replacing existing Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Switchgear, and other electrical power distribution and control equipment. Project scope also includes addressing corrosion issues throughout the plant, and flood protection of critical electrical and chemical buildings.
