SEWER AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - CONTRACT VII

City of Lawrence, MA (Owner) invites Bidders to submit sealed Bids for Sewer and Drainage System Improvements - Contract VII , which includes replacement and rehabilitation of the City’s existing sewer collection system, including lining of approximately 3,000 linear feet of sewer main and replacement of approximately 3,300 linear feet of sewer main (Base Bid); and all materials and equipment, construction, and services inherent to the Work. Additional Work is included for bidding as Alternates (to be awarded at Owner’s option) include : Alternate A - Winthrop Avenue Sewer Relocation; Alternate B - River Pointe Way Sewer Relocation; Alternate C – Essex Street Area Trenchless Rehabilitation .

Bidding Documents were originally available April 16, 2025 on the City’s website but are no longer available there . Instead Bidding Documents are available and may be obtained electronically at no cost for examination and use on or after April 30, 2025 from the Engineer .

• Bidders who had previously registered on the City’s website will be re-registered by the Engineer in Procore and an email with instructions and links will be issued.

Instructions for downloading the Bidding Documents and accessing other related public information will then be provided by email.

A non-mandatory pre-Bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on May 7th, 2025 at the Lawrence Water Department, 400 Water Street, Lawrence, MA. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.
