Demolition of the old Jay Football Stadium.
Detail
The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation recently acquired property in Jay, OK known as the football stadium. The stadium is the old public school venue and will serve as future homesites for the community. The site contains a total of 11.6 acres and several improvements. Those improvements are outdated and stand in the locations of future housing and infrastructure. HACN is seeking bids from qualified firms for the demo and proper disposal of structures, fencing, and lighting from the site. Demolition will include all interior fencing, pipe fencing, stadium bleachers with press box, visitor stands, scoreboard, locker room, restroom building, and other small utility buildings as well as other surface and subsurface concrete sidewalks and footings. The demolition will also remove the site/stadium lighting but the light fixtures will be saved for use at another location.
