HEALTH MONITORING SERVICES AT THE NEW EAST PROVIDENCE COMMUNITY CENTER

BID OPENING TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026, AT 11:00AM

ADVERTISEMENT

The City of East Providence requests proposals from qualified healthcare providers to lease designated space within the new East Providence Community Center, located at 610 Waterman Avenue, for the operation of health monitoring services accessible to all residents. The Community Center is centrally located at 610 Waterman Avenue on the campus of the City's Robert Rock Senior Center, directly across the street from East Providence High School.

The City is seeking proposals that will benefit the City and its residents by expanding access to preventive and primary health care services. The dedicated health monitoring room is currently under construction with completion expected October 31, 2026. The health monitoring room is approximately 450 square feet and is designed to serve residents of all ages. Successful proposals will demonstrate a commitment to delivering affordable, accessible, and services, with a priority emphasis on serving seniors, youth, and low-to-moderate income residents of East Providence.

The City considers the following service components mandatory for all proposals:

•Ongoing health monitoring services utilizing the Community Center's dedicated health monitoring room

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2026, at 11:00AM in Conference Room A at East Providence City Hall, located at 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914.

One (1) original, two (2) copies and one (1) Thumb Drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026, AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded on the same day in Conference Room A at East Providence City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope must be marked RFQ EP25/26-010 Health Monitoring Services East Providence Community Center.

The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
