Description:

The Work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization; clearing and grubbing, grading, unclassified excavation, furnish and install D.I. Tee with thrust block, furnish and install 8" purple PVC C900 water line, furnish and install 8" gate valve, furnish and install D.I. horizontal bend with thrust block, furnish and install 8" master meter water meter, furnish and install 4" C900 PVC drain pipe, furnish and install 6" C900 PVC drain pipe, furnish and install 6' tall chain link fence with 12' access gate, remove and reconstruct v-ditch, and furnish and install Heli-Hydrant assembly complete.

Work shall be completed in compliance with approved Project Design Plans and Specifications, on file with the City Clerk.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. The Contractor is required to complete a Bidder's Qualification Form & Contractor's Project Listing (included in Section 1.3.7.1 Bid Documents) certifying that they have met the minimum acceptable experience for performing the necessary work.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
