P-8A Lot 9-11 Wing Pylons

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole source contract modification to Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00019-20-D-0012 to Hamble Aerostructures Limited (formerly General Electric Aviation Systems Limited) to procure Sonobuoy Storage Racks and associated engineering efforts from Arnprior Aerospace Inc. in support of the Lot 9-11 P-8A Poseidon aircraft.

The effort was procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and

No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Hamble Aerostructures Limited, is the only known source with the requisite knowledge of the design, technical data (e.g. drawings required with future ECPs, instruction manuals, installation procedures, and maintenance data necessary to support/sustain the equipment), fabrication process, performance, and operational characteristics of the SUU-92 Wing Pylons capable of meeting the P-8A requirements.
