See attached sources sought notice. The purpose of this requirement is to purchase a liquid chromatograph (LC) system for the Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS), Office of Chemistry and Toxicology (OCT), Division of Analytical Chemistry (DAC), and Method Development Branch (MDB).



This need is to develop new methods that will be applicable for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) laboratories dedicated to food safety. This instrumentation will be used to develop comprehensive methods for the analysis of contaminants in foods and rapidly analyze many samples to determine contamination. The instruments will serve as an inlet for previously purchased Sciex mass spectrometers as well as a Thermo Scientific Q-Exactive HF Orbitrap (QE-HF).
