1. Introduction & Purpose
The Texas Facilities Commission(TFC) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to furnish and install thelisted upfit components for 17 pickup trucks (e.g., 2025 Chevrolet Colorado andChevrolet 2500) with six configurations herein. TFC reserves the right to makean award on the basis of low line-item bid, low total of line items, or anyother combination that will serve the best interest of TFC and the right toreject any and all bid items or waive minor technicalities at the solediscretion of the State.
2. Scope of Work
Awarded vendor will outfit fleetvehicles with new, unused equipment. Vendor is responsible for all materials, equipment,hardware, shop supplies, and labor necessary to deliver and install completefully functional configurations on agency-owned vehicles. All work shall complywith applicable federal, state, and local laws and maintain the OEMmanufacturer’s warranty to the greatest extent possible.
A. Vehicles:
o Chevrolet Silverado (Model Year: 2025, Crew Cab,6’10” standard bed), Quantity: 4.
o Chevrolet Colorado (Model Year: 2025, Crew Cab,5’2” standard bed), Quantity: 13.
B. Location: Installation shall occur at Vendor’sfacility. Vendor is responsible for pick-up/delivery. Vendor shall includeround-trip transport in pricing.
C. Scheduling: Vendor shall provide lead timenecessary to begin work and time necessary to complete work from pick in bidresponse.
D. Documentation: Vendor shall provide all productdata sheets, operations instructions, required maintenance instructions,compliance certifications, and warranty documentation at delivery.
E. Quality Assurance and Inspection
o Services are not considered complete forpurposes of payment until TFC inspects and accepts the work performed by thevendor.
o Deficiencies shall be corrected within 14business days at Vendor’s expense.
o TFC reserves the right to reject any items notconforming to specifications or workmanship standards.
F. Warranty
o Accessories: Minimum 3-year parts warranty (ormanufacturer's standard if longer).
o Labor: Minimum 1-year workmanship warranty.
o Liftgates/Flatbed/Fuel System: Providemanufacturer warranty statements; on-site service support within 5 businessdays.
G. Delivery
o FOB Destination.
o Delivery hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM –4:30 PM.
o Vendorshall coordinate scheduling 2 business days in advance.
