An initial invitation to bid (February 14, 2025) and an addendum(February 20, 2025) for this project were issued. We have sincediscovered that our specification for the fencing size/gauge wasincorrect. We have therefore cancelled the original invitation tobid, and are re-issuing this new invitation to bid with a new duedate of Friday March 14, 2025 at 3 pm.The Town of Narrows is seeking sealed bids from responsive andresponsible contractors to replace its Lurich Baseball Field fencethat was recently damaged during Hurricane Helene. The fieldlocation is 2506 Lurich Road, Narrows, VA. The work shall includethe removal and disposal of damaged fencing and other materials,and the installation of approximately 1,125 linear feet of newchain-link fencing at the Lurich Baseball Field in the Town ofNarrows (the âWorkâ) . Additional information regarding specificproject deliverables and terms of the Work is outlined in the fullversion of the Invitation to Bid.
