Description:

This Procurement Specification (PS) covers a commercially produced diesel engine driven ARFF vehicle for an Index B airport. It includes a 1500 gallon water/Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) fire suppression system: 450 lb. potassium-based dry chemical only.

The ARFF vehicle is intended to carry rescue and fire fighting equipment for the purpose of rescuing aircraft passengers, preventing aircraft fire loss, and combating fires in aircraft.
