Description

Background

The Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment, Mr. Steven J. Morani, is pleased to announce that we will be conducting one-on-one Reverse Industry Days (RID) sessions with Industry on 11-12 December 2024, as part of our annual DoD Maintenance Symposium in Salt Lake City, UT. These sessions will offer industry a chance to discuss the Department’s expansion of the Regional Sustainment Framework (RSF) into the European theater. RSF is intended to bring maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) for military weapon systems closer to the point of need.

Advisory Statement

This is not a solicitation. Announcements are made to gather insights and inform industry without any commitment on current or future contracts. This notice does not bind the Department to any contractual obligations. Any participation is voluntary, and costs for participation are borne by the participants. For further inquiries, please contact my designated POCs below.

Registration Description

Companies interested in deeper discussions about expanding RSF into EUCOM during the RID can arrange for a one-on-one session with government representatives at the 2024 DoD Maintenance Symposium, allowing for in-depth exploration of regional sustainment / MRO-related solutions beyond what can be presented in an open setting or conference forum.

Submission Instructions

Companies wishing to participate in the RID one-on-one sessions should forward their request packet to osd.pentagon.ousd-a-s.mbx.rid@mail.mil no later than 15 November 2024. See the attached 2024 Reverse Industry Day Invitation for complete instructions.
