Fox Hollow Well #1 Inspection & Cleaning
Description:

The Fox Hollow Groundwater Supply Well #1 within Allegany State Park (ASP) shall be rehabilitated. The purpose of the well rehabilitation is to inspect and clean the water supply well. The rehabilitation includes:

  • Preliminary Pump Test
  • Removal and Inspection of Pump and Motor
  • Pre-Cleaning Inspection
  • Well Rehabilitation/Cleaning - Mechanical and Chemical Cleaning
  • Post Cleaning Inspection
  • Reassembly and Reinstallation
  • Final Pump Test of Well and Equipment
  • Disinfection and Testing
  • Inspection & Cleaning Report

Minimum Bidder Qualifications: The bidder shall have the minimum qualifications listed below.

  • NYSDEC Registered Water Well Contractor
  • At least five years’ experience inspecting groundwater supply wells
  • At least five years’ experience cleaning groundwater supply wells

Pre-Bid Site Visit : A site visit is scheduled at Allegany State Park for Wednesday, December 11, 2024 starting at 9AM. The site visit will allow the bidders to review the site. Please email Brian Pound to confirm that you are coming to the site visit. The meeting start point is the Quaker Area Rental Office at 8998 ASP Route 3, Salamanca, New York (716-354-2182). At 9:05 AM we will drive to Fox Hollow Well #1.
