A - NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Commissioner of General Services, c/o Division

of Public Works, Town of Hempstead, Town Hall, Room 222, 350 Front Street, Hempstead,

New York until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at which time they shall

be publicly opened and read aloud and the Contract awarded as soon thereafter as may be

practicable for:

East Meadow Water District

Replacement of the 1.5 MG East Meadow Elevated Tank

Contract No. PW 21-25 - REBID

A-1 Complete digital sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained online as a download at the

following website: dbea.biddyhq.com under 'public projects'. Neither Owner nor

Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of the Contract Documents, including

Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office. All bidders must

obtain a set of the Contract Documents and all Addenda.

Please note that hard copies of the Proposal and Town Forms (Sections 11 and 12 of

these Contract Documents) must be submitted with each bid.

A-2 Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the

Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid.

A-3 Bid documents may be viewed at the Office of the Commissioner of General Services,

c/o Division of Public Works, Town Hall, Room 211, Hempstead, New York.

A-4 Federal equal opportunity and labor standards are applicable for all work performed

under this Contract.

A-5 The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
