P-25 Compliant Digital Portable Radios

Cosumnes Community Services District (“District”) Fire Department is seeking proposals to replace its obsolete fleet of VHF radios with P-25 compliant digital portable radios. The goal of this RFP is to improve firefighter safety by replacing obsolete equipment with equipment that meets applicable industry, local, state, and national standards and provides interoperability with neighboring jurisdictions. The Cosumnes Fire Department is a member of the Sacramento County 800MHz P-25 Phase I trunking system maintained by the Sacramento Regional Radio Communications System (SRRCS).
