Scope of Services
The purpose and intent of this term contract is to secure firm pricing for services of packaging, removal, transportation, and proper disposal of various hazardous waste materials from District schools and facilities throughout Marion County.
The district has numerous hazardous materials that must be collected and disposed of properly:

•        Used motor oil

•        Used transmission fluid

•        Used hydraulic fluid

•        Used anti-freeze

•        Used oil filters

•        Used “oil-dry” or “cat litter”

•        Oil contaminated water and/or sludge from secured collection

•        Contaminated or waste fuel

•        Unused or old paint

•        Paint solvents

•        Aerosol cans

•        Plumbing glue and cleaner

•        Air conditioning compressor oil

•        Various science classroom chemicals, solvents, preserved specimens

•        Fluorescent light bulbs

•        Non-PCB ballasts

•        PCB ballasts

•        Miscellaneous mixed batteries (non-automotive)

•        Mercury or mercury containing devices
