Project Description: The Borough of Bangor, 197 Pennsylvania Avenue, Bangor, Pa 18013 invites the submission of sealed bids to furnish work in accordance with attached Bid Specifications
for:
Construction of Accessible Ramp at Bangor Borough Building
Bid Documents and bid forms are available on Pennbid beginning Thursday April 16, 2026. Proposals must be submitted electronically on Pennbid, BIDS DUE May 8, 2026 before 2:00 PM, and will be PUBLICLY DISPLAYED ON PENNBID BY 3:00 PM Each bidder is required to bid on the total project.
All Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory but recommended pre-bid meeting at Bangor Borough Building on Friday April 24, 2026, at l1:00am-12:00 noon. Additional visits can be arranged by contacting owner’s representative, Borough Manager, Mr. Stephen Reider at sreider@bangorborough.org or 610.588.2216.

This project is funded partially by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) provided by the Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development. As such, the contractor must become familiar with and comply with the terms and conditions specified in the grant.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, surety in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the General Stipulations.
The bidder shall be required to comply in all respects with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and chapter 49, title 16, of the Pennsylvania Code and any other regulations promulgated hereunder.
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall fully inform himself as to all laws, ordinances, insurance, bonds, regulations, wage rates, underwriter approval and shall include in his bid a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the specification and pertinent documents.
