Project Description: The NBISD is accepting sealed Proposals to provide GENERAL GOODS &
SERVICES on an “as needed basis” in accordance with the specifications, terms
and conditions, contained in this Solicitation. The District intends to award multiple five-year
vendor contracts with no minimum guaranteed item quantities or dollar amounts.
ADDENDA TO RFP. NBISD reserves the right to revise and amend the specifications prior to
the date set for the receipt of proposals. Respondents are requested to clarify any
ambiguity, conflict, discrepancy, omission or other error(s) in the RFP in writing. Revisions or
amendments, if any, will be made by issuing an addendum. It is the responsibility of each
Contractor, prior to submitting the Proposal, to go to the NBISD webstie to determine
if addenda were issued and, if so, to obtain such addenda for attachment to the
Proposal. Register online at

VENDOR INFORMATION: New Braunfels ISD (NBISD) extends to you an invitation to submit a proposal
to serve as a preferred vendor for our General Goods & Services bid.
In lieu of providing bidders with a specific list of items in which to bid on, the district is requesting vendors
to submit an agreement to sell merchandise at the regular retail shelf prices or if available, to provide a
discount off of their retail shelf prices to the District and any available services. If a bidder cannot list one
specific discount percentage, vendors are free to note “various discounts offered or call for price
quote” on the bid questionnaire sheet of this bid.
The District’s intention is to award to multiple contractors for use on an “as needed” basis. Vendors are encouraged to submit a proposal based upon one or multiple categories offered under this solicitation.
CONTINUOUS PROJECT: NO GUARANTEES: INTIAL CLOSING DATE: May 21, 2025 FINAL CLOSING DATE: June 20, 2030
Even though this is a "Continuous Project", it is in your best interest to meet the "Initial Deadline" so our district can continue doing business with you. Pushing out your submission date will hold up any purchases our district may be interested in and will prolong you becoming a vendor.
