Description

The 934th Airlift Wing intends to issue solicitation FA6633-25-R-0001 to solicit proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Project #QJKL 24-0014, Repair Fire Alarm and Mass Notification, Building 821 & B870.

A solicitation package is anticipated to be available at www.sam.gov on or after 30 July 2025. Paper copies will not be available. The entire request for proposal (RFP) will be made available only on the website SAM.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. It is anticipated the following viewers are needed to open the solicitation and all attachments: Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and WinZip (.zip or .exe).

The government intends to hold a site visit. The exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Work to be performed within NAICS code: 561621 size standard $25M. The purpose of this project is to Design and Build the Fire Alarm and Mass Notification, Building 821 & 870. Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, and supervision to perform project in accordance with the statement of work, specifications and drawings. Period of Performance (PoP) is 472 days (design phase 189 days and construction phase 283 days) after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Location is 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis, MN 55450-2100.

Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

A Request for Proposals (RFP) is contemplated IAW FAR part 15 with a 30-day response time after issuance of solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.203 and is issued as a Small Business set-aside.

Magnitude of acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from SAM.GOV. All contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database – www.sam.gov and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award and also be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 561621. Interested contractors are encouraged to click the “Follow” icon at the top of the posting notice to receive updates concerning the solicitation. No Interested Vendor list will be made available to contractors.
