The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Woonsocket Flood Reduction Project, Woonsocket, RI.
QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all equipment, materials, permits and labor to perform the chemical vegetation control services at the Woonsocket Flood Reduction Project, Woonsocket, RI.
The Woonsocket Flood Reduction Project includes four (4) locations with 17 work areas for a total of approximately 18 acres. The areas require maintenance spraying and spot treatments of vegetation on rock slopes and dam structures. Chemical Utilization Spray Reports shall be submitted upon completion of chemical herbicide application. The Contractor’s work and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to, all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, personnel, equipment, vehicles, fuel, materials, supplies, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform the various services required herein.
This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about March 12, 2026. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov).
This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
