BC-RFP-25-021 Professional Consulting Services for Trail-related Services for BC Ramapo Valley County Reservation Park

Project Description: BC-RFP-25-021 The Bergen County Department of Parks (Parks Dept.) seeks a consultant (the “Contractor”) to provide professional services for trail improvements, trail management, trail construction and trail related training services. These services will be applied for the repair, renovation, alteration, maintenance and restoration of existing trails, and when necessary, installation of new trails at Bergen County’s Ramapo Valley County Reservation Park.
The overarching goals of the project assignment are:
• Manage the implementing of trail improvements (including maintenance, operations, and education) within Ramapo Valley County Reservation using Contractor’s staff, AmeriCorps crews, and volunteers.
• Develop and implement volunteer training program. Recruit, educate, and train novice volunteers from the general public in the technical aspects of maintaining and implementing trails
