Project: Roadway and Sidewalk Improvements
Project Number: 556-23-105
Location: Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, North Chicago, IL
Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, quality assurance, and supervision for roadway and sidewalk improvements described in the drawings and specifications of this contract. This project focuses on addressing current deficiencies in streets, sidewalks, and stormwater management infrastructure.
The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; size standard $19.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 236 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer.
Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a:
(1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001
(2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and
(3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VetCert (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov))
The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://sam.gov/ on or about December 17, 2024. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for January 28, 2025. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
