Description
The U.S. Government is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of the manufacture of Power Supply with National Stock Number (NSN) 6130-01-157-3155. This notice is issued solely for planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be issued on or about 30 September 2025. The anticipated acquisition will result in a 5-Year IDIQ, firm fixed price contract with an estimated minimum quantity of 30 units and a maximum of 150 units over the life of the contract applicable to the Patriot Weapon System (D6). In order to obtain access to the Technical Data Package (TD), venders must have an active certification in Joint Certification Program (JCP), https://www.public.dacs.dla.mil/jcp/ext/#ext/dashboard.

*Source Approval: Parties must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package in accordance with Army SAR guidelines for evaluation and potential qualification.
AMC/AMSC: 3C: This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
