INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed bids for Alma Water Storage Tank Recoating Improvements, Project No. 2024083, will be received by the City of Alma Water Department at 804 Fayetteville Avenue, Alma, Arkansas 72921, 2:00 p.m. (local time), on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “City of Alma, Arkansas, 804 Fayetteville Avenue, Alma, Arkansas 72921” and shall be labeled “Bid for Alma Water Storage Tank Recoating Improvements, Project No. 2024083”. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
This project includes internal and external recoating of one (1) 1,000,000-gallon ground water storage tank and one (1) 400,000-gallon elevated water storage tank.
The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined online at QuestCDN (see below). Copies may be obtained from QuestCDN upon a non-refundable payment of $22.00 for each set. Bidders are responsible for reproduction costs, and Bids will not be accepted from any Prospective Bidder who has not purchased bidding documents through QuestCDN. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from QuestCDN.
Bidders may schedule a time to examine the construction site by contacting Wes LeMonier, P.E. at (479) 474-1227. Site visits must be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 14-25-101 et seq. and related statutes.
The City of Alma, Arkansas, reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Opening Date.
The City of Alma, Arkansas, encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor.
