Solicitation Summary
The City of Hyattsville seeks qualified contractors to perform routine maintenance on thirteen (13) stormwater
management systems (Best Management Practices or BMPs) located throughout the City. These systems, including rain
gardens, bio-swales, bioretention cells, and submerged gravel wetlands, are critical for managing stormwater runoff,
reducing flooding, and ensuring compliance with Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) regulations. The
objective is to maintain these systems’ functionality and aesthetic condition through six (6) annual maintenance visits over a
one-year period.
