Horse Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Study

Aiken County Government is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify a licensed engineer to provide a full range of engineering services to support implementation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Assessment and Master Plan. These services will be provided under contract with Aiken County, with funding provided in whole or in part by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) under RIA State Grant #P-25-5036.

This project will address the current and future organizational, operational, financial, and technical needs of the Horse Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. It would evaluate long term needs and involve regional stakeholders in the planning and financing of plant needs. An analysis of population and growth trends, including economic development efforts, will be developed to plan future expansion and renovations.
