Title: Wisconsin Health Plan Chronic Disease Quality Measures
Available Date: 4/29/2025
Due Date: 5/5/2025 2:00:00 PM
Bid Synopsis: The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH), is seeking to contract with a vendor to provide measured data, based on the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) technical specifications. HEDIS measures are developed by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). NCQA uses HEDIS measures to accredit health plans and evaluate the quality of care. Using HEDIS allows DPH to standardize data collection and directly compare performance across health plans as a basis for quality improvement initiatives. This data will facilitate the Chronic Disease Quality Improvement Project (CDQIP) in collaboration with Wisconsin Health Plans. The purpose of the project is to evaluate and report on the quality of chronic disease prevention and care. It shares information amongst health plans to establish population-based strategies, evidence-based approaches and best practices to prevent chronic disease and improve care through quality improvement initiatives.
