The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances, and incidentals necessary to complete the demolition, removal, disposal, and installation work required to fully rebuild the Secondary Clarifier #3 at the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in accordance with Evoqua specifications. The scope includes removing and replacing worn or damaged mechanical components which include center column, rake arms, nuts, bolts, other hardware, skimmers, gear box, motor, and large lower gear box previous purchased by the City of Waco from Evoqua and ensuring existing electrical and process water plumbing are returned to original functioning status. The contractor must perform all necessary adjustments to ensure the clarifier functions per manufacturer standards, coordinate inspection and startup testing with an Evoqua authorized representative (at the City of Waco’s cost), and ensure the unit passes all functionality tests. All work shall comply with applicable OSHA safety standards, municipal codes, and environmental regulations. At project close-out the contractor shall submit as-built drawings, a completion report, and provide a standard labor warranty. The project requires all site work, labor, equipment, and materials complete and inplace as stated in the RFB, shown on the plans, and specified herein.
General Contractor shall self-perform 51% of this project.
Liquidation Fee is $1,000.00 for each day of delay.
TxDot Qualifications are NOT Required for this project.
The City of Waco is seeking to have the work that is the subject of this RFB completed within 120CALENDAR DAYS , (Base Bid and All Alternates), from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
