The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure long lead, time critical parts previously secured in support of Lots 46/47 F/A-18E/F production from The Boeing Company (TBC) and associated subcontractors. The period of performance is anticipated to be eight (8) months. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336411.
The procurement is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This material was previously procured by Boeing and associated subcontractors in support of the Lots 46/47 aircraft procurement, awarded August 2024, and TBC and its suppliers currently have physical custody of the protected time critical parts that are to be delivered.

Responsible sources may submit a Statement of Capability and Qualifications to the Contract Specialist listed demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement within 15 days from the publication date of this announcement.
