This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest, (NAVFAC NW), located in Silverdale Washington, intends to solicit for the provision of Concrete and Asphalt Recycling services for the various Naval Base Kitsap installations within the Navy Region Northwest, including Bangor, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Bremerton, Keyport, Indian Island, Jackson Park Hospital, and Manchester. The Contractor’s facility or receiving point shall be located within 50 road miles of Naval Base Kitsap (1101 TAUTOG CIRCLE SILVERDALE WA 98315). The services to be performed include the recycling of approximately 150 tons of concrete and 50 tons of asphalt annually, with the potential for additional quantites to be added to this contract which may include additional bulky items such as Keel blocks composed of concrete and rebar.
The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices per ton. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and 4 one-year option periods for renewal, at the discretion of the government. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 562910-Remediation Services (Size Standard of $47 million).
Required services must be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be available at the time of solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about 27 June 2025, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The site provides downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Management Award (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. There is no response required for this synopsis, responses will only be required once the Request For Proposal has been posted.
