SOUTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, PA

TOWNSHIP BUILDING RENOVATION & ADDITIONS

100 Township Drive, South Fayette, PA 15017

Separate sealed bids will be received by the South Fayette Township, PA Commissioners for renovations and additions to the former Township Municipal Building at 515 Millers Run Road, Morgan, PA 15064 until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, for the following contracts:

  1. General Construction
  2. HVAC Construction
  3. Plumbing Construction
  4. Electrical Construction

Bid submissions are via the PennBid online portal . Bid opening will be immediately thereafter, with results posted via the Portal.

Project consists of renovation of the existing 12,199 sq. ft. Township Municipal Building, a 2,837 sq. ft. addition, and site and utility improvements. Project completion is 365 days from Notice to Proceed.

Plans and specifications are available at no cost exclusively on the PennBid portal. Prospective bidders must register online via PennBid to review documents.

The issuing office for the Bidding Documents is ms consultants, inc., 2221 Schrock Road, Columbus, OH 43221.

All bids must be accompanied by the following:

  • Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the total of the Base Bid.
  • Non-Collusion Affidavit.
  • Contractor’s Qualification Statement.
  • Certificate of Authority for corporations organized under laws of a state other than Pennsylvania.

All work must comply with:

  • Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 of August 15, 1961 (P.L. 987), as amended.
  • Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012).
  • Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act.

The awarded contractors will be required to submit Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value, indemnifying South Fayette Township.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 515 Millers Run Road at 9:00 am prevailing time on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Questions regarding the pre-bid conference or bidding documents shall be posted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid.

No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with South Fayette Township. Bidders may not withdraw their Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting their Bid guarantee.
