One Fire Hydrant Replacement
- To coordinate with Toledo Water Department to shut down correct water Line
- To coordinate with Ohio Underground Protection Services
- Excavate fire hydrant to expose, remove and dispose of assembly off-site
- Provide and install new 5&1/4 fire hydrant assembly
- Provide and install thrust block as necessary
- Backfill under and around new fixtures, pipe and connections with premium backfill material
- Backfill remaining trench area with stone and clean fill as necessary
- Flow hydrant upon completion and collect water flow information per NFPA 25-2011
- Ensure Hydrant Testing is itemized and included as part of bid on Bid

Predecessor Contract

Process

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) will award this project to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible supplier on contract . The awarded supplier must include all applicable costs for delivery, setup, and warranty in their submission.

Substitutions are not permitted unless explicitly authorized within the solicitation documentation.

All pricing must be clearly entered into the OhioBuys item grid. If a separate quote is submitted, the total must exactly match the amount listed in the item grid. Discrepancies may result in disqualification.

DBH reserves the right to purchase up to the full quantities specified in the sourcing project.

Important: All vendor inquiries must be submitted exclusively through the Inquiry Field in OhioBuys. Questions submitted through other channels will not be considered.

In the event of a tie bid, the sourcing project will be awarded to the first valid bid received by the date and time stamp in OhioBuys.
