| Notes | To achieve a greater level of waste prevention, diversion and recovery from the municipally run landfill the City of Lincoln Solid Waste Management Division wrote and received a three-year Consumer Recycling Education and Outreach (REO) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. A part of this grant award will be for the City of Lincoln in partnership with the Public Policy Center, Eleanor Creative and the Cultural Centers of Lincoln to launch a community-wide educational campaign on topics related to improved food and recycling waste diversion from the municipally run Bluff Road Landfill. |
