Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-131 and city policy, sealed proposals endorsed "Roof Sealing for
Central Warehouse & Fleet Fuel Island IF2769" will be received by City Purchasing, City Hall,
101 North Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC until the date and time listed above. ** This will not
be a public bid opening! ** The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding
procedures and to reject any or all proposals.
Bidders must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General
Statutes.

read and understand the contents of the Bidding Documents. The bid documents are this IFB only.
Bid documents can be obtained by contacting Randoll Surles. All bids should be submitted
electronically to bids@cityofws.org no later than 2:00 PM on October 6, 2026.
This project includes the restoration of the existing structural metal roofing system through the
application of a silicone roof coating system in accordance with the manufacturer's published
requirements for a 20-year warranty that can withstand weather conditions and but not excluding
act of God events.

** NOTICE OF PRE-BID **
pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, September 21, 2026, at 737 City Yard Dr.; 1550 MLK
Jr.Dr. Winston Salem, NC. Meet at outside at front entrance.
The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved for this project. Staff will
be present to answer questions. The City will not consider bids from companies who do not have a
representative present at the pre-bid and/or who fails to record their attendance on the sign-in sheet.
