• Request for Proposal
The City of Calgary requires a qualified Consultant to develop hail exposure maps for the Calgary metropolitan area. This initiative supports City Council’s directive under the approved Hail Notice of Motion to enhance public awareness, guide planning decisions, and strengthen advocacy efforts.
The Consultant will:
• Model hail risk projections for Calgary;
• Create historical hail occurrence maps;
• Develop high-resolution maps identifying hail vulnerability zones;
• Provide custom reports to support City departments in risk management and planning; and
• Deliver shape files and relevant datasets.
Consulting partnerships or collaborations are encouraged where the ability to combine complimentary expertise and supplemental resources can meet the unique project requirements.
This project includes a single Phase with multiple deliverables.
