The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for FY25-29 AN/SPS-48 Radar requirements on a sole source basis to L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES, 7821 Orion Ave, Van Nuys, CA, 91406-2029. The BOA allows for the placement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target (FPIF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF), or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type delivery orders for an ordering period of sixty (60) months from date of award. The BOA will allow for procurement of installation material and spares procurement, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) maintenance, software maintenance, engineering support labor and changes, product improvements, documentation, testing, training, logistics analyses, technical investigations, installation support, and other radar maintenance/repair actions for the AN/SPS-48 Radar.
The proposed BOA is a follow-on for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2) (iii)(B).
Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact L3 Harris Corporation directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
