The project will re-roof the existing Perkins Building at Penn State Berks. The new roof is an EPDM assembly. Fall protection will be added to the project along with a metal screen wall and skylight replacement. Abatement will be required.
While the prebid meeting is not mandatory for roofing contractors, it is mandatory for any Penn State prequalified asbestos abatement contractor that wishes to submit a bid to the awarded roofing contractor.
The prime contractor must be a PSU prequalified in Roof Construction. The abatement contractor must be prequalified by PSU for asbestos abatement.
Bids will be received electronically only through the Trimble Unity Construct Bid Portal. Bids will not be accepted in any other format.
