PUBLIC NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR LA VERKIN POND & PIPELINE PROJECT
The Washington County Water Conservancy District is issuing an Invitation for Bids for the La Verkin Pond and Pipeline Project. A copy of the Invitation for Bids is available at wcwcd.gov/procurement .
Project details: 7-million-gallon secondary water storage dam, pump station, and transmission lines.
Project location: La Verkin City, Utah
Scope of work: This project will include the construction of a dam to provide 7 million gallons of secondary water storage, a pump station, and transmission and distribution lines consisting of approximately 6,000 lineal feet of 18-inch ductile iron pipe , 3,000 lineal feet of 24-inch PVC pipe, and 4,700 lineal feet of 18-inch PVC pipe.
Mandatory pre-bid conference: June 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time at the La Verkin City Hall – 111 South Main St La Verkin UT
Bids due: To be responsive to this Invitation for Bids, interested bidders must submit their bids no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Daylight Savings Time on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Late submissions, including those delayed by technical issues, will not be accepted. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their bids are submitted on time.
Additional information: The District will manage this solicitation through the Kahua Online Bid Room application. All bids must be submitted via Kahua. Kahua is a secure web-based application where bidders receive bid invitations and submit sealed bid proposals. Please see the Invitation for Bids for instructions on accessing Kahua.
