Boulder County Public Works is requesting submissions of interested contractors’ qualifications to perform vegetation restoration, and erosion and sediment control. Projects will vary in scope and size and will be vegetation restoration, and erosion and sediment control related to Boulder County Public Works projects including roadways, bridges, drainage, and trails/sidewalks. An average project size will be between one-half and two acres and consist of performing landscape maintenance, and vegetation restoration after a completed construction project. The contractor’s responsibilities will consist of a variety of restoration and landscape maintenance efforts such as soil preparation, incorporating amendments, drill seeding, hydro mulch, installing soil retention blankets, installing/maintaining/removing sediment control measures, mechanical weed control, herbicides, temporary irrigation, wetland/willow/tree planting.
