Wildwood Terrace Paving Project

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that Wright Township will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 A.M, prevailing time on August 7, 2025 for the Wildwood Terrace Paving Project, at which time the bids received will be opened via PennBID. The work includes but is not limited to all labor materials, tools, oversight, permits, and mobilization/demobilization required to replace asphalt pavement and bituminous curb by mill and overlay procedures along with placement of new bituminous curb and maintenance and protection of traffic.
All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 12:00 P.M. on July 18, 2025.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply to the project.
All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned.
Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s Office and referred to Wright Township for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 AM on July 28, 2025 at Oak Road in Mountain Top. All bidders are encouraged to attend. Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Vendor Discussions” tab on or before 3:00 P.M. on July 31, 2025. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.
