Sealed BIDS, in duplicate, addressed to City of Richmond, Attention Mr. Howard Christian, Assistant City Manager, will be received at the City of Richmond City Hall Annex, 600 Morton Street, Richmond, Texas 77469, until 2:00 PM. Local Time, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and then publicly opened and read for: CITY OF RICHMOND STREET REHABILITATION PHASE I PROJECT NO. ST2201 FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS.

Major items of work include:
(1) Roadway and drainage improvements for Mulberry Drive, Cedar Drive, Chestnut Lane, and Teakwood Street located in Richmond, Texas.
(2) Rehabilitation of the existing concrete pavement for the four (4) streets with approximately 4,000 linear feet of proposed 7-inch concrete pavement with 8-inch lime stabilized subgrade and 6-inch concrete curb.
(3) Reconstruction of the existing sidewalk with approximately 3,900 square yards of proposed 5foot sidewalk and ADA pedestrian ramps where needed.
(4) Replacement of approximately 2,800 square yards of existing residential driveways and aprons.
(5) Drainage improvements consisting of replacing the existing storm sewer system with approximately 3,000 linear feet of circular reinforced concrete pipe ranging from 18-inches to 42-inches and approximately 50 linear-feet of 23-inch by 36-inch arched reinforced concrete pipe.
(6) Water line offsets for areas where the proposed storm sewer system is in conflict with the existing water line.
(7) Traffic control, miscellaneous signage, stormwater pollution prevention measures, site restoration, and other items to facilitate construction of the project.

BIDS received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM Local Time on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the City of Richmond City Hall Annex, 600 Morton Street, Richmond TX 77469. It is recommended that all bidders attend the pre-bid conference; however, attendance is not mandatory.
