General work description:
The City of Sierra Vista, acting as the fiscal agent for the SPRNCA MOU Adaptive Management Committee and Cochise, is soliciting statements of qualifications to provide ON-CALL WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERING SERVICES for the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area MOU Adaptive Management Committee (“AMC”) and Cochise Conservation and Recharge Network (“CCRN”) for a contract term of One (1) year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year terms, not to exceed five total contract years. The City may award an on-call contract to up to three (3) consultants.
Services under this RFQ may be federal grant funded, therefore the documentation included in this RFQ complies with federal procurement regulations and the successful individual/company is expected to agree to comply with all federal regulations as described in this RFQ, under 2 CFR 200.
The Adaptive Management Committee was formed to further the goals of the Bureau of Land Management’s SPRNCA Resource Management Plan (RMP).The committee is comprised of representatives of the City of Sierra Vista, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, U.S, Army/ Fort Huachuca, and Cochise County with further technical expertise being provided by the U.S. Geological Survey, the USDA Agricultural Research Service, and the Fort Huachuca Sentinel Landscape. The SPRNCA MOU Adaptive Management Committee and Cochise Conservation and Recharge Network seek the services of a water resource engineer to help the committee achieve its goals. The City of Sierra Vista serves as the Fiscal Agent for both of these collaborative groups.
