Description

SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Design and propose new playground to replace the existing playground equipment and meet or exceed the CSA Z614:20 National Standard.
2. Contractor is responsible to complete first call and secondary line locates prior to ground disturbance.
3. Contractor is responsible for installing a construction fence around the playground to ensure public safety.
4. Removal and disposal of existing playground equipment at the Contractors cost.
5. Removal and disposal of the playground protective surfacing and border at the Contractors cost.
6. Supply and install new border using 6”x6” treated wood around the complete perimeter of the playground.
7. Supply and install a minimum of 12” deep premium washed playground sand. Sand must be high enough to cover all protrusions such as pilings, footings, foundations, and any below grade railings to meet the CSA standards.
8. Supply and install new playground equipment meeting or exceeding the CSA Z614:20 National Standard.
9. Contractor is responsible for any site cleanup and waste removal.
10. Contractor to supply all closeout documentation including as built drawings, complete parts list for all equipment and signage conforming to the CSA Z614:20 National Standard.
