The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Contractor shall provide non-personal professional diagnostic radiology services at Contractor facilities using Department of Defense (DoD) approved secure broadband connections to transmit radiology images and data between the requiring DHA MTFs and the Contractor’s facilities. The supported DHA MTFs include medical centers, hospitals, clinics, and similar facilities located worldwide, both within the continental United States (CONUS), outside the continental United States (OCONUS), and in U.S. Territories. The services are required to provide image interpretation and reports by board certified radiologists in support of basic assistance with case volume and on-call scenarios throughout the Military Health System (MHS). The Contractor must be authorized to connect to and transmit data between the Army, Navy, Air Force, and DHA Medical Community of Interest (MEDCOI) Information Networks and have computer hardware that is capable of receiving Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) compliant diagnostic imaging studies from the requiring MTF and to return a final interpretation report that will automatically upload into the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
